TATO means “dad” in Ukrainian.

Our founder grew up in a family where food was the language of love, resilience, and celebration. After moving to Spain, she missed the comforting flavors of dill and garlic, the sour tang of fermented vegetables, the richness of stews layered with pepper and bay leaf.

TATO Bistro began with a single pot of borscht on a borrowed stove, shared with friends who quickly became family. Today, we continue this tradition in a small dining room just a few steps from the sea in Costa Brava.

Every dumpling you taste carries a story of where we come from and the new stories we are creating here.
